Skales has revealed the state of his relationship with Wizkid as he came out to say he and the Starboy CEO were never friends.
This comes as a surprise to many.
Many know that at some point in their careers, Wizkid and Skales could be described as friends. But in a recent interview, Skales has put that line of thinking to rest.
Skales and Wizkid have had their own share of problems even though they were once signed to Banky W’s EME records. This makes what Skales said even more surprising.
When asked about the state of their relationship: “I’m inspired by his work. Wiz is a great guy; we’re all doing great in our different ways. We were never friends; it’s always been about the business between the two of us,” he told Soundcity.
Skales recently made the news after it became public knowledge that his Ethiopian ex-girlfriend Leyla has dumped him.
